Una polémica decisión tomó una conocida tienda de ropas: su dueño, Dov Charney, despedía o no a sus empleados según su aspecto físico.

Es increíble la actitud que tomó Dov Charney ante la baja de ventas de su producto. El dueño de American Apparel decide sí un empleado de su conocida tienda de moda (de ropa básica a precio alto) sigue o no trabajando para él en función de su aspecto y no de lo bueno o malo que sea ejerciendo su labor.
La noticia se conoció cuando un jefe de una de las tiendas, quien prefirió no develar su identidad, contó que Dov Charney pidió a las sucursales con peores resultados de ventas que le mandaran fotos de sus empleados. De esta forma, el dueño de la empresa decidía sobre el futuro del trabajador basándose en su belleza.
Es indignante el hecho de que por ser feos no tengan la posibilidad de trabajar y más triste que un hombre decida quién es lindo o no como lo hace Dov Charney.
